Will shield 2.0 slide mate with shield + lower

I have a shield 2.0 9mm. Will the Shield + larger lower work with my old slide?

I've seen recent Youtube videos of people swapping them out, but they didn't take it to the range yet. If I had both, I would wait and see what happened to other people before trying it myself

I have a Shield 1.0 and a plus. Slides will not interchange but barrels seem to fit either way.

Be careful mating them. It might come out a Hi Point.

The only parts that actually work between 1.0 and 2.0 are:
- sights
- barrel
- guide rod assembly
- striker
- striker safety
- magazines

You can can swipe those and shoot. I wouldn't risk with slide...

Logic says if the 1.0 slide won't work on a 2.0, neither will the Plus.... after all, it's just a higher-capacity 2.0.

I have a 1.0 but want the 2.0 with built in Crimson Trace but also would like the Plus if it had a built in laser. Never been a huge fan of the add on lasers. Why not buy both and Frankenstein it if it worked. Haha

I have a 2.0 PC that I tried on my plus, fit and functioned at home. Next range trip I might give it a try, Why.....because the PC 2.0 is ported with night sights and the plus is a plain jane. I would have a ported night sighted plus.
PS there selling stripped plus frames on Gun broker and stated upgrade your 1.0 or 2.0 slide to a plus.
