The crown of the new flash hider doesn't reach all the way up through the threaded part to the slope. Instead when fully tightened the 11 degree crown is still recessed about 6 threads worth of length down (Pics). Could this negate any benifit the crown job would give as far as evenly dipersing gas away from the bullet as it leaves the muzzle?
