Win 231 and the 44 mag

I'm casting 250Ks and have found 7 gr of 231 to be extremely accurate and pleasant to shoot, although a bit sooty and smokey. Has anyone used and actually chrono'd this load? I'm shooting a 4" 629-1 that loves this recipe.

I have shot 7.0 in the 41, 44 and 45 Colt. It seems to work well in all of them.

My 625 MG likes it too. I was just wondering what the muzzle velocity is. I'm guessing 800-850fps.

7.4 under a 429421 in my 629 MG gave me 860.
