Win. FTX .38 Spl. vs. Win. FTX .38 Spl. +P

Does anyone have any chronographic or empiric data showing the relative effectiveness of the Winchester FTX .38 Special versus the FTX .38 Special +P when fired through a 2" bbl.?

I don't have any problem using occasional +P's in my non-rated M442 however, if there is little difference in terminal effectiveness with the standard load in that barrel length, I don't see the need. Convince me one way or the other.
