Now we need to get Pritzger and his justices to reverse the AR registration and magazine capacity ban.
Wishful thinking since chicago controls springfield.

The fact that four people were shot dead while riding the Blue Line Monday night will be blamed on the judge "giving the shooter a license to kill", despite the fact that if a law against murder didn't deter him it is unlikely that one against carrying a gun on a train would have.

This is an argument I have frequently used in such discussions. Who in his right mind thinks that a person intent upon committing a capital crime would be deterred by a threat of fines or minor jail time for a weapons violation?

Especially when certain prosecutors won't even charge them let alone convict them.

A year or so ago Michigan State University had a shooting and the news blames the gun but they are leaving out that the shooter was arrested 1 year before the shooting for carrying a gun in a vehicle without a carry permit (felony). He got probation, went and bought another gun because he wasn't a prohibited person and shot up the college.

I am pleased that the court finally came to this decision eleven years after that improper law was passed.
Eleven years!
