WINTER

Winter down here means I wear a long sleeve shirt with my cargo shorts, so I also carry the same guns year round.

I prefer layering to wearing a heavy coat. I carry a Glock 26 90% of the time all year long.

Ok I am in Kalif so winter coats rarely come into play, but when I travel I carry the same rig, it isn't that hard to dress around a G26/iwb.

Since retirement I have went from 100% pocket carry guy ( .32, 380, 9mm L C 9 & .38 442) To now compacts in I W B in 45 & 40. Only real time I pocket any more as when I go to see a doctor then I drop down to small pocket carry. Winter dosnt play in to it

The only change I make for the seasons is more practice with revolvers and rimfire outside, so that I don't have to search for brass in the snow. For carry in any season it's a lightweight 1911 every day.

hehehehe. The proponents of Global warming say it's the global warming that is causing the colder temps. LOL. OK. Well, I think their argument is the weather is becoming more dramatic because of it.

Anyways... been a pretty stiff February for cold and snow in Wisconsin. We got way more in this month than the whole winter combined.

I carry the same all year. In really cold weather I will drop a 642 or 640 into the weak side coat pocket.
