My wife dragged me to a Paul McCartney concert in August. I'm not a Beatles or McCartney fan, but it was the best show I ever saw. Very glad I went.

The old hippy had a sold out stadium on their feet for 3 hours...

Jan & Dean: I saw them many times. I even videotaped their last performance at Santa Cruz. It may be the last performance before Jan Berry died.

Beach Boys: I saw them several times over the years.

Rolling Stones: Twice. The second time I had seats in the second row.

Who I would liked to have seen:
Beatles
Rick Nelson
Johnny Cash

John Lee Hooker

Ray Charles

James Brown

Fully Assembled Led Zepplin (w/Bonham).

Fully Assembled Pink Floyd (reunited would even be fine)

A time machine to be at the first Woodstock including the VW Bus to stink in for the weekend.

The only band I regret never getting to see live is Led Zeppelin.

I would have like to see Lynyrd Skynyrd play Freebird with the original band...

It would also have been cool to see Elvis sing Suspicious Minds.

Brubeck, any
Bird, any
Paul Desmond, any
Getz, Girl from Ipanima
Ellington, Fleurette Africaine (from my favorite album of his Money Jungle)

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Voodoo Child in Carnegie Hall
Pink Floyd

oh man I could go on for quite a while so I'll leave it at that.
