I took care to photograph close ups of age blemishes. It presents a lot better with eyeballs at arm's length.

The serial on the bottom of the bottom piece of the period box — don't have the top piece of the box — matches the test target serial. The SN is three years later than the gun, so 1939. The "owner's manual" is original for a first series. The other owner's manual is, I think, an early Third Series manual.
