I’m a great believer in using Crimson Trace Lasergrips as fallback sighting devices on all of my handguns.
When I had trouble properly aligning the laser on one of my sets, I called Crimson Trace and they, immediately, sent out a NEW replacement set and a return shipping label.
(INCREDIBLE customer service).
Since I had another set available to install on the M&P 340, I never used the NEW replacement set that I received.
Besides providing an alternative sighting option, the LG-350 reduces recoil enough to make shooting magnum rounds with my M&P 340 tolerable and 38 +p rounds in my wife's 642 very comfortable.
According to the Crimson Trace website: These fit Airlight, Airweight, Bodyguard, Chief’s Special, Centennial, Ladysmith, Models 36, 37, 38, 49, 60, 63, 317, 331, 332, 337, 340, 342, 351, 360, 442, 637, 638, 640, 642, 649, 651 and 940. Round butt only.
