For sale is a S&W Model 1, 2nd Issue in exceptional condition.
S&W Factory letter (included) shipped 1864 just as pictured - 3 3/16 inch barrel, two tone blue/silver, rosewood grips.
100% original and correct. Action works perfectly with the top hinge damage free. Rosewood grips are absolutely beautiful with just a tad of lower edge wear, mostly on the right side.
Silver plating is 98+% intact with just a hint of brass showing thru only at the high points on the frame. Grip straps are in wonderful condition.
Overall a very nice example.
