I have decided to thin the herd a bit, so I am offering for sale a few guns which are either duplicates or don’t really fit my collection. FTF n the Show Low, AZ area or FFL to FFL, shipping and insurance at buyer’s expense. Postal money order or Chase sure pay please. Add 5% if using discrete pay pal to cover their costs, please. Sorry, no California sales, my FFL won’t ship there.
S&W 17-2, .22LR, 6” barrel, mfg 1965, original diamond magna stocks. Excellent condition except for a small ding at rear of right stock, should steam out, but I don’t want to refinish the stocks. It is extremely accurate and fun to shoot. Overall 95% condition. $875. Now &795. WITHDRAWN.
S&W 686-1, .357 Magnum, 6” barrel, red ramp/white outline sights, original target stocks, 98% condition with slight turn line. Pre-MIM, pre-lock. $650. WITHDRAWN.
Dan Wesson 744VH6, stainless .44 Magnum with a 6” heavy ventilated rib barrel. The shroud is ported, but the barrel is not. It is an early Monson-built gun with a very smooth action and is very accurate. It has Hogue “exotic wood custom grips” which have spectacular color and grain, I don’t remember whether they are Goncalo Alves. The grips are contoured to fit the hand beautifully, and the gun is quite accurate. Will also include a set of Pachmayr Presentation grips. Overall 98% condition, $975. Now $895. WITHDRAWN.
S&W 22A-1. .22LR, 5.5” barrel, one of the more expensive black frame models. Full-length rail for optics, should you desire to mount one. I received this gun several years ago as a new replacement from S&W in exchange for an earlier one which had some problems the factory was unable to repair. I put about 400 rounds through it, and it ran flawlessly. I then cleaned it, put it in the safe and left it there, just can’t warm up to it (I’m primarily a revolver guy, and, as to semi-autos, I prefer older guns like the Colt Woodsman). As new in box with paperwork, etc. Includes 3 factory magazines (about $44 each, if I remember correctly) instead of the standard 2 mags and two packages of extra recoil buffers. $325. Now $300. WITHDRAWN.
