I am considering trading this for something in a different caliber.
I would consider the following as trades with money +/- going in the appropriate direction. All trades must be Pre-Lock and Pre-MIM please.
PM or email me with questions or trade options.
625 5" Classic in .45 Colt
625 Mtn Gun, 3" or 5" .45 ACP
66-2 or 66-4 3"
640-1 .357
617 6-shot 4"
The 629 is a "-3" model with full-underlug barrel and unfluted cylinder.
Serial number is CDE93**.
It is in excellent condition and appears to have been fired very little. There are a few minor scuffs that you have to look for to find and I can take more detailed pics if necessary.
I have personally put maybe 100 rounds through it. It locks up very tight and shoots well. Hornady 200gr XTP factory loads will get your attention and everyone else's when shooting in an indoor range!
I do not have the original box but it will ship in one of the latest blue plastic S&W cases.
I ordered the X-frame grips from S&W and the lanyard-loop screw and installed them. The lanyard loop screw takes the place of the Hogue screw and does not screw into the frame. I like it because it makes it quick and easy to take off the grip for cleaning without using a screwdriver. You can have your choice of this grip or a S&W-marked standard Hogue grip without the lanyard loop screw.
