For sale, a very rare matte finish, fixed sight Model 559. According to the SCS&W (page 292, 3rd Edition; page 357, 4th Edition), there were only about 15 of these matte grey / black pistols made in 1985, at least two years after the Model 559 was discontinued.
Pistol does appear to have been fired but I’d describe it as close to new in box and I believe the pictures illustrate its condition well. It also includes its original serialized box, two magazines and paperwork.

$1100 shipped (USPS Priority) to your FFL.

5923SSV?

Collectable pistol doesn’t seem to be attractive enough so how about one you can shoot and use?

Smith & Wesson Model 5903 alloy frame with a 6904 slide and single sided, low profile DECOCK ONLY lever. Does not act as a manual safety and will not stay down after decocked; pops back up ready to fire. Like a 5924 or 5926 but slide mounted lever, not frame mounted. It has a magazine safety and firing pin safety but no manual lever.
Slide lock lever is also low profile so nothing is wider than the grip. Two tone (5903, 5906, 5943, 5967) ‘SSV’ style with contrasting controls and a serrated bobbed hammer. So, the closest model would be a 5923-SSV. Traditional double action followed by single action but has the half-cock notch for a reduced first DA trigger pull like the DAO models (5943, 5944, 5946, 6944, 6946, etc.).

Slide has some finish wear but the approximately 30 year old clear anodized aluminum frame is one of the nicest I have ever seen. Comes with two 15 round magazines.

$800 shipped (USPS Priority) to your FFL.

If you don't like the single sided lever, I can put an ambi lever in it.
Don't like the decock only I can put a manual safety lever in it, single sided or ambi.
Don't like the shorter barrel, I can...etc.
