My son, SAFireman, and I did a display for the symposium dedicated to S&W distributors. Here are some photos of the section we had on Wolf & Klar of Ft. Worth, Texas. This company convinced S&W to return to offering shrouded ejector rod barrels (N frame) by committing to purchase 5,000 44 caliber hand ejectors. These became the Model of 1926 or the 3rd model 44, nicknamed the Wolf & Klar model.
In our display we had the following guns:
2 Houston (TX) Pd 44s
1 Kilgore (TX) PD 44
1 W&K "Wriggle Cut" engraved 44
3 other lettered W&K 44s
1 32-20 shipped to W&K
Other items on display included a 1930 W&K catalog, a W&K marked pocket knife, a "Mexican" holster, a "Deluxe" Mexican holster and an assortment of the company's signature jigged bone, mother of pear and steerhead grips.
