Wolf & Klar holster source

A fellow SWCA member sent me this and gave me the go ahead to post it. Wolf & Klar holsters are few and far between, one just sold on an auction site for close to $400. Thanks to GC for passing this on.

I have images of a dozen examples of this holster that the brochure calls the T-Lap for some reason:



The brochure also confirms that it was not just called a Mexican holster but actually was made in MX; previously as indicated by its construction (the lining and the twin rows of light duty machine sewing that hold it in place, usually without glue).

Those holsters are very neat. I have seen a few of the holsters before, but never seen one of their cartridge belts.

I should have stated that the holster on the top of the second page of the Ingersoll brochure is what we know as a Wolf & Klar holster- very distinctive & unusual as Red’s photo shows.

John, for the sadly uneducated, can you please explain why the holster is known as a Wolf & Klar holster?

And doesn’t it need something like this in it?

It was sold by Wolf & Klar, Ft. Worth, Texas.

I live in Fort Worth....I'll keep my eye out for those holsters (joke). I actually have seen a couple of Wolf and Klar 3d Model 44HE at pawn shops here. Bought one, should have bought the other but it had 'pawn shop' engraving which I didn't appreciate at the time.
