Wolff Type 2 ?

I haven't done any spring replacements in many moons. I was looking at them in the Midway catalog and they refer to Type 2. What are they? Have the springs changed since the IL? OR if that isn't it, are my no dash through dash 3 different from current springs for some other reason?

Type 2 is Wolff's designation for their reduced power mainspring. Has nothing to do with S&W's "dash" numbers.
