I read a book by someone who did a study of wolverines in Glacier national park. Interesting read. One that had a collar was recorder going over the highest mountain in the park.. It covered the last 2000f in 15 minutes. What was truly fascinating about that was it occurred in January. January there, at that elevation, would mean snow measured in yards and -30 on a warm day. He said that he did not believe that inclines mattered to them, they just went wherever they wanted, when ever they wanted. One showed up here in town a couple winters ago.
