Looks like he's enjoying himself as well as she. I was in the Navy and had women aboard our ship and I loved it.

The first time I saw a Commander pin a medal on a female Airman he just pinned it on the pocket like he would on a male. The next time and every time after that the medals were pinned on the lapel instead of the pocket. Don't know if anyone said anything or not but it was fun watching his expression when he pinned the first one. His expression was something like I really love this job but I'm going to be in so much trouble if she says anything. The female Commanders pinned the medals on the pocket of the females just like they did on the males.
