I was looking for an L-Frame several years ago when my LGS turned me on to a 1962-vintage N-Frame 28-2. I have never owned an L-Frame. You have a really nice 586 at a great price; looks brand new. Congrats!

A workhorse back in the day and now very collectible.
The 586 isn’t pristine by any means but it’s decent.,
I won’t get it until Thanksgiving week as I’m heading to Europe until mid Nov
Very nice acquisition! The way you're going, you're going to need a larger room to hold all of your gun safes! A K-frame safe, an N-frame safe or two, and soon an L-frame safe! Congrats!
That’s a nice looking 586, and a fair price by today’s standards, I’d guess. Looks unfired, or nearly so. Pretty stocks, too.
