I think I just added something to my bucket list. AR with wood stock's. I had no idea that even existed but found it on Brownells and gotta say the pictures look pretty sweet.

Century Arms offered a C15A1 with wood stocks and handguards about 2 years ago. The C15 is a 1970s Colt A1 upper, FS, and bolt on a new A2 lower. Most had Colt stocks and handguards and are basically Vietnam A1s. But there was an option for wood. Not sure how many woodies they sold. When the hysteria dies down you might look for one

Thats exactly what I am going to do if that dont pan out it gives me a excuse to build one. I dont know why but I am a fool for wood on my guns.

Ya, I like the idea of wood stocks on a AR! Anyone out there have a few good pictures of various wood stocks on AR,s Please post, THANKS George

Wood is nice, but taking away versatility isn't worth it IMO. Its kind of like having an AK with a wood stock (pointless). The more versatile it is, the better it is.
