Worker with a gun...

Its really pretty simple. If you are shot and killed at your work place your empoloyer is out NOTHING. They have insurance for the workmans comp and other ancillary stuff. IF you kill somebody while you are at work, your employer has a ton of exposure which may, or may not, be covered by insurance. Even if you are 100% correct they could still lay out huge sums in legal costs.

The bottom line is that your employer would much rather you be killed than you kill or hurt the bad guy, or even worse some innocent bystander gets hurt in the crossfire. That's life in the real world.

I'll have to take my business elsewhere!!

i have to give it to the worker, he wasn't quick to fire, he thought everything out well, then took action. If he was a Cop he would have received a medal.
