Would appreciate some help on a gun part

I hope I do not offend any body here, it aint a S&W Part.
I have a Marlin 39A made in 1947, I need a part fer have tried Numrich and Brownells to no avail, any body know where I can find as part fer it??? I hate to have to junk it, it's been a good friend fer a lot of years, Thanks in advance.

I looked on the Marlin website and it says that they will not service 39As that are over 50 years old......that's not to say that they don't have the part you need! I'd give tham a call first. I believe they still make the 39A, don't they?
