( 300 Savage) deer hunting when a partridge/ruffed grouse landed on the other end of the log I was sitting on, and no I wasn't using a Patridge sight, it was a Williams peep sight. )

It depends on the fish. Regardless of the caliber, I like a gun with a bass bead front sight.

I thought a periogue was a dough like concoction filled with cheese , sauerkraut, and/or potatoes, although the correct spelling is Pirogues.

On the other hand, a pirogue is the flat bottomed boat used by Cajun, to float around the Bayous looking for clients.
