I have a sigma 9ve with a broken firing pin, It has been back for a broken striker in the past. The gun has less than 500 rds, I am the original owner and wonder if I can get a firing pin and replace it myself or send it back again, I have better guns but this one needs something done for it since I would not sell or trade it like it is. Opinions?

Depends . . . if you get lucky and talk to the right customer service rep they will sometimes send you out parts for do-it-yourself replacement. Most of the time, though, they want you to send it in.

I got lucky once and they sent me a new firing pin and spring, but it took nearly two weeks to get it.

I would send it back for repairs. After it returns I would dump it at the local shop for whatever trade value it would bring. Good luck! Regards 18DAI

Definitely send it back even tho its annoyingas they should repair and find out why it keeps doing this as well. Something is not right for it to happen twice in so few rounds.
