for those who shoot PPC or timed stages where you use a LCD wrist watch (stopwatch function) to maximize your trigger time per stage….

what wrist watch have you found to be beneficial?

No HUGE kitchen timers strapped to your forearm.
big numbers for easy to read
no frills watch that is easy to use
nothing expensive

don't want to go to Wally World and buy something that may not be the best thing (if someone has the ZHIT for online watches)

TIA

Mike, take a look at the Timex Ironman Triathlon series. I use one that is rated for 200m, since I am a swimmer and I dislike to take my watch off when washing. They are $40 at ... Walmart (of course). The model has a nice sized display for my getting-older eyes and the batteries are easily replaced. Back of the watch is removed by removing four small screws. They don't last forever. I go through one about every two years. I think eventually they start to leak somewhere around one of the five buttons and then you will get a little condensation inside. You can remove the back and let them dry out but when they get to that point I give them away and buy a new one to keep our "disposable society" running.

YAY……got some responses.

I have been through two Timex watches these past two years. I guess I am hard on my stuff.

I was having issues seeing the time clear when time is a factor and looking for a bigger face with larger numbers…..Wally World has Armitron huge faces with bigger numbers for $22.

Since I go through watches…..just wanted to make sure something was not out there that I did not know about.

I will check out the other models too.

thanks

THE BIG FACED ONES FROM WALMART IS WHAT I USE.

I SHOULD BE COMING OUT OF THE SITTING POSITION AT 45-50 SEC, FINISHED WITH PRONE 1MIN 30 SEC LEFT HAND AT 2 MIN 10SEC AND RIGHT HAND AS THE TARGET TURNS.

If you can manage to find one...

The one I used for years was one that had belonged to my son - a Fisher Price Time jammer. Believe it or not it was probably the best thing out there: large numbers, and only one function other than the time - a stop watch. Had a big button on the face so it was very easy to hit when the targets turned. Here's a link to AMAZON, but they don't have any right now, if you want to see what they look like. Scour yard sales and flea markets when you get a chance. If it was tough enough to withstand a kid, it will likely withstand PPC - mine did.

If it looks stupid but works, its not stupid right. I wear a Casio Gshock pretty much every day unless it doesn't look right with what I'm wearing.
