A friend of our son's has asked me to steer him in the direction of a Model 686 with a 6" barrel so I'm asking if anyone has one they would sell. Since he made clear that it be a gun I would buy for myself, the gun has to be unaltered cosmetically and mechanically with the possible exception of stocks. The box and goodies are pluses but not requirements. Finally, it has to be a -4 or earlier, preferably with a square butt but a round butt would be okay too.
