I need a hammer for a 66-3 K frame. This is the last style before the firing pin was moved to the frame. It looks very similar to a run of the mill K frame hammer, but it isn't the same, and is not interchangeable.
This style hammer uses the late model hammer nose and spring you see sold these days on GB and other sites. (Note: This hammer nose won't work on earlier hammers either (66-2 , 15-4, 19-3, etc., and earlier))
Again, lookin a hammer assy. Do have a 19-3 hammer, it jams in the frame mounted FP bushing.
