I found a 6" 32/20 that needs a lot of help, and I would like to do just that. It has been abused for over a hundred years, but is still saveable. It's been overly polished with dished screw holes, and hot blued over scratches. It had a bulged barrel and some one cut the barrel and drilled the end of the cut off sight piece, and then turned the barrel down and soft soldered the sight on. Very poorly done, with mismatched diameters. The bore is not very good. It has the spring loaded pin in the crane. Also the rear sight blade has some damage to it, and the round butt grips are modern ones. This old girl just screams for help! Would really like to find a target barrel, but a fixed sight one would be great also.
