WTB Model 39 Frame

If you've not yet struck pay dirt I may have what you need, though admittedly I'm unfamiliar with and therefore kind of leery about the legal ramifications. If you can sufficiently soothe my soul, i've got a darn decent frame . . .

What state are you in? The frame, for the purposes of the ATF is the gun. Even a stripped frame would need to be sent to an FFL in my state, possibly from and FFL in your state, just like a complete gun. If we were residents of the sane state (Ohio in my case), we could do a face to face transfer.
Don't let the FFL stuff scare you,
Most are happy to facilitate the service for a small fee. If you have a gun store you normally deal with, you could check with them. An FFL can ship it more cheaply than either you or I could as we would need to send it overnight. They can do something more reasonable.
What would you want for the frame, and what sort of condition is it in? If you could PM me a picture, that would be fantastic.
