I'm going to give this a try, hopefully the correct way.
I'm looking to gather materials that came with a 1980 S&W model 27 revolver. I have a nickel plated 8-3/8" model, I'd like to gather the materials it came with originally.
I have sourced some paperwork and fellow forum member is currently recovering/restoring my liner for the wood presentation box.
I am mainly looking to see if anyone has a blue cardboard box this revolver came in, that says nickel plated on the outside? I see there is one for sale on ebay, it says it's a blued version. I was just seeing if anyone had 1 laying around they would be willing to part with? Also, a complete cleaning kit is something else I'd like to obtain. The one that came with my revolver has been heavily used. I'll try and attach a picture for reference on the outer blue cardboard box I'm in search of.
