WTK - help with a couple K frame values.

A friend of mine reciently recieved a few guns in lieu of some money owed him.

Two are nice K frames and he was wondering the value.

First is a nice m65-1
4" HB, P&R, square butt.
Very good shape with just a few handling marks.
Grips are nothing to write home about, so-so condition targets with football cut.

Second to my eye is the big home run.
M15-3 nickle snubby.
Exellent condition origional nickle finish - I didnt have the grips off, but the finish looked 100% perfect to my eyes.
What I assume are the origional magna service stocks.

He'd like to sell them both off and pick up a 7 or 8 shot 357, 627 udr or 686udr being his first choices.

I think that he's going to reach that goal with enough left to take his wife out for dinner.
Am I crazy?

The model 65 sounds to be a $450-500 gun, and the 15-3 probably $550-600, so he should be safe for one of the guns he wants, and perhaps dinner for two at McDonalds .
