There is a slight turn line on the cylinder but lock up is snug with very little play. The trigger is butter smooth and crisp. With the right springs, it easily brings a super-smooth 8# DA and sub-2# in SA breaking like the proverbial glass rod.
Cosmetics are superb, as can be seen in the pictures. Forcing cone is great and there is no sign of flame cutting on the bottom of top strap. Subjectively, it looks and feels tighter and smoother than any new S&W I've purchased over the past 5 years.
