WTS (DFW, TX):

1946 38/44 Heavy Duty Transition, 5 inch, blue.
Original finish; 100% numbers matching; NOT reamed.
Serial number S67595.
The factory letter and gold box (seen in links below) come with the gun.

This gun shipped July 24, 1946 to Blish Mize & Silliman Co., Atchison, KS

$1650 Face to Face.
Must be willing to show/provide your Texas DL AND CHL/LTC and sign a Bill of Sale.
Or, the gun can be transferred to you through my FFL Dealer for a fee of $20 (you pay the fee).

$1700 Shipped/Insured in a new plastic/foam padded handgun case.
Gun will be shipped/Insured via USPS Priority Mail from my FFL to your FFL (C&R is OK).
No sales to California.

NOTE: Sometimes in my photos, the lighting gives the gun a slight purplish tint which might lead some to think the gun has been refinished.

*Under natural light, there is absolutely NO purple tint in the finish of the gun.*

My "photo booth" is an inexpensive tabletop set and I use a basic point & shoot camera with a decent megapixel count. Sometimes I get the purple tint and sometimes I don't.
