I have some time now to be working on my John Wayne woodburnings again. These are 13-15 inches long on average by 8-9 inches wide, have a hanger on the back and are stained. Due to the increase in the cost of wood and the loss of one of my suppliers, these are $45 shippped.
Next is a program from a dedication of a Memorial Park in Corinth, NY that I attended. The keynote speaker was Charles W. Lindberg. Lindberg was a member of the first group of USMC flag raisers on Iwo Jima on February 23, 1945. Their photo was taken by USMC photographer Lou Lowery four hours before the famous Rosenthal photo of the second flag raising. Lindberg was shot through the arm and evacuated from Iwo on March 1st. He was awared the silver star for using his flame thrower against Japanese pillboxes before the flag raising on Surabachi. Lindberg was the last man of both flag raisings, he passed away in 2007. This was signed in front of me and later sealed in plastic, the program has not been opened since that day. There is also a keychain that came with it that was also sealed.
$50-
Franklin mint knives-
These vary, and are $25 each shipped or $100 for all five.
