This is a first year Model 57 presentation case with the velour lining. This case came from a well known dealer with a first year Model 57 that had been factory refinished. The buyer of the firearm did not want the case, so it is being offered for sale. The exterior of the case is in fair condition with many light scratches and a few that are deeper. It would not be difficult to lightly sand this and refinish the exterior to like new condition. The hinges and clasp are all in very good condition. The interior has the blue velour lining and is in very good condition. The tools in the picture are not included (they go with my 29-2), but I do have an original M57 parts list dated 1967 that I will include. I have never seen one of these cases available for sale, so here is your opportunity to case your first year Model 57. The price is $335 shipped.
