This is a what you call a crying shame. 
Here is a beautiful Model 38 Bodyguard that is in like new condition, except for a cracked frame. I've had a few guys tell me that the gun can be repaired and shot again, but I'm offering it for parts only.
I sent the Model 38 to Smith & Wesson for repair or replacement, as I had read reports of barrels being screwed in too far at the factory leading to cracks. Unfortunately, S&W said I was out of luck.
So, here it is:
Here's a picture of the crack:
The various parts are in excellent condition, excepting the frame, of course.
I'm asking $165 OBO shipped to your FFL. I live in NW Ohio, and I'd be glad to meet to exchange gun and cash. Please send me a private message or e-mail with questions or to reserve the Model 38. I do have this posted on another forum.
