Selling one of my last, non-Colt Novak guns, based on a Series I stainless 5" .45 acp.
The concept was to replace only the parts necessary for hard use - Wilson Bullet-Proof firing pin stop, extractor, slide stop; tool steel hammer/sear/disconnector; match bushing; short match trigger, standard GI recoil system. Flat smooth stainless Ed Brown mainspring housing. Novak reliability package, carry bevel package, Novak gold bead front sight and plain black rear sight. Bead blast finish, Hogue double-diamond grips. Novak logo on the slide.
I had it built, sold it later to a friend in my club, who approached me a couple of months ago as he is winding down his gun collection. I am looking for the work order.
Asking $1,500.00 shipped to your dealer. If you check, you will see that Novak's has stopped taking in 1911 work (except sight installations) in 2013, with no date to start again.
