This is a seldom seen 1986 Production (serial # P608XX) rare Third Series fully shrouded 3" barrel .38 Special 6 shot Colt Detective Special. This Royal blued gem is in excellent condition as the pictures show with a super conservative rating of 97% on the all original finish. The timing and lockup on this pony are perfect in both double and single action with a crisp even trigger pull. The factory original grips do show some dings and dangs but have no cracks and are fully functional. This little beauty does not have the box or papers but will come with a new extra set of factory grips, a custom Right Handed Appendix Carry New York Pro deep concealment leather IWB holster by Eric Larsen of HBE, a Right handed black leather 3 slot pancake holster with thumb snap and a Bell Charter Oak Right handed reinforced mouth 2 slot black leather open top pancake holster.
