Up for sale is a beautiful nickel 6 ½" barreled Model 29-2 in .44 Magnum. The "S" prefix serial number puts it at about 1965 manufacture date. Rifling and forcing cone are perfect, as is the timing and lock up. The action is very smooth and the finish is the best nickel I have seen on an S&W revolver. The gun is mint except for a chip on the left grip panel right above the checkering (was like that when I bought it). The clamshell presentation case is in great shape with a few marks from storage (I have no idea what happened to the cleaning rod). I bought the gun used a number of years ago, so the actual round count is unknown, but based on the overall condition, it appears to be very little. I've shot 50 rounds of factory Magnums out of it.
