Next up is a Remington Rand 1911A1. According to serial number data I found online, this one was made in 1943. It's been through Gvt. rebuild indicated by the "RIA" stamp on the right side. All USGI parts, very good bore, tight action. Finish is worn. Also has previous owners drivers license number scratched in the frame just ahead of the "US ARMY " stamp.
