Looking for a FTF transaction in metro Atlanta. I'm in Gwinnett County.
Smith and Wesson model 36 5 shot .38 Special. This model has a flat latch and matching original wooden grips (grips are numbered to the gun). It's been a while since I looked it up in the catalog but I believe it was made around 1960. Serial number is 1391XX.
This gun does have some finish wear, especially on the cylinder. It shoots great however and has been my carry gun for a little while, I just need something a little lighter in the pocket.
It will also come with hogue bantam boot grips which are shown in some of the pictures.
I'm only interested in 4 things:
$300
Ruger LCP + 1 box ammo or pocket holster
Smith Airweight
Ruger LCR
If I can't get any of those, I'd rather just keep it as it works fine for me as a carry in 95% of situations (actually carrying, not speaking to reliability).
This is listed on other forums.
Holster in the last picture is only available with the gun for an extra $35. It's made by Andrews Custom Leather, it runs $55 on his website.
Note that in these pictures the cylinder has been turned to hide some of the wear, they were taken more for "showing off" than selling.
