UPDATE: While high lighting the roll marks for these pics I discovered a previously unoticed stamping on the bottom of the barrel reading "VALLEY GUN LA CA" it is very discreet, very well executed, and I'm not sure how it effects the value eccept that I assure you that I won't charge a penny extra!....=)

Picked this up from another member recently and am putting it up for trade. It is a VERY clean (finish is easily 95%) mid 1970's vintage Smith&Wesson Model 12-2 "K" frame 4" round butt air weight revolver in 38spl.
Gorgeous little pistol! deep high polish blue finish with a glossy black alloy frame. The only thing keeping it from being perfect are some small areas of finish flaking around the sharp edges of the frame, mostly around the edges of the trigger guard. Bore is pristine. Barrel is pinned and stamped "AIRWEIGHT .38 SPL CTG." on the left side of the barrel. The action is glassy smooth with a S/A trigger that breaks like a glass rod (typical 70's S&W). Timing is impeccable and it locks up like a vault! I would be VERY surprised if it has had 100rds fired. Factory round butt grips have been replaced with Pachmayr "presentation" compacts..............................................Trade Value $425

Open to just about any firearm related trade, but a few things I am particularly interested is are:
1911's (RIA or similar, NO LAMA's please!!) any caliber, but prefer commander or compact, stainless or nickel a plus.

S&W compact 2nd or 3rd generation autos (think 669,6069,CS or "Shorty" models
Taurus big bore DA snubbies (especially in 45acp, 45 Colt, 44mag/spl)
Astra A75 in 40 or 45
Star PD 45 in Starvel
Sig P6
Taurus 709 slim, PT145 (stainless please)
Rossi/ LSI "Puma" '92 Winchester clone prefer "trapper" length in .357,44mag,or 45LC (other calibers,makers or barrel length considered)
And of course as always,
Cobra or Republic Arms "Patriot" 45 (plus cash or other guns.
