*I'm clearing out my 60 year collection of various militaria, firearm accessories and parts, and other historical artifacts and collectibles.
*I will regularly be posting new stuff as I go through the boxes of stuff I have stashed away, so check back often.
*U.S. Postal Money order is preferred, but check or other money orders work fine too.
*I am NOT able to take PayPal, Venmo, or other on-line electronic payment methods.
*First definite and unconditional "I'll take it" posted here and to my EMAIL at vonweigert(at)earthlink.net gets the item.
*I'm selling these items to raise funds for the dog rescue we run, so I'm not really interested in any trades at this time.
*Shipping will be in the most appropriate size USPS Priority Mail flat-rate box or the padded envelope for items that fit in these, or USPS First Class or Ground Advantage (formerly parcel post) shipping.
*Longer items that don't fit in a Priority Mail flat-rate box, like the Garand stock, I will have to take to FedEx and the Post Office to determine exact shipping cost - FedEx price is probably better than US Post Office.
*I live way out in the country, and am disabled and don't drive, so I get a ride into town about once a week with my daughter to mail things off, or to get shipping prices on items that don't fit in a flat-rate box.

*PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT - I LIVE IN SAGE, A SMALL AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY WAY OUT IN THE COUNTRY AND MY MAIL IS DELIVERED TO A LOCKING RURAL MAILBOX BANK DOWN THE ROAD FROM ME. ANYTHING WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED TO ME, AND WILL INSTEAD BE SENT TO THE MAIN POST OFFICE IN HEMET, A CITY VERY FAR FROM ME THAT I NEVER GO TO.

1. WW2 GERMAN OFFICER'S - JAEGER LEUTNANT - JACKET. $750 + shipping

I've owned this jacket since 1971, and it is as I received it when it was given to me in Germany - nothing has been added or changed.

Earlier "Waffenfarbe" color for Jaeger shoulder boards and collar tabs was a darker green, but was changed to this lighter green (also used by Panzergrenadier) by order of the German High Command (OKH) on November 8, 1943 onwards

The Tank Destroyer Badge is a post-war reissue made by S&L, one of the companies who made replacement medals and badges for German WW2 vets to replace lost ones or ones with banned symbols. It was on the jacket when I received it, and I have left it alone.

The jacket is in good condition. It has a couple small mothing spots on the underside of the right shoulder board (I don't have photos of this yet) and a seam in the lining has come unstitched in the armpit area of the right sleeve, as shown in the photo below.

Due to my pathetic little old and marginal camera, I apologize for the quality of the pictures, but they are the best I could get at the time with that camera.

I'm selling this for 2 reasons. The first is to raise badly needed funds for our 501(c)3 large and medium dog, and wolfdog, rescue. The second is to ensure that this historical artifact will go to someone who will appreciate it and continue the care and protection of it which I have given it for the past 52 years, due to serious and declining health issues I am now facing.

If anyone is interested or wants more information please contact me directly by EMAIL at vonweigert(at)earthlink.net

I am not able to take any form of electronic or online payment or cash app, such as Paypal, Venmo, etc.

$750 + SHIPPING PRICE IS FIRM.
