I always liked Wyatt's advice on gun fighting. "I's better to be a bit more accurate, than a bit too quick".
I always heard it as "take your time in a hurry"...
I remember visiting and thinking it was a very nice courthouse tour. A lot of history in that building.
Hence the invention of the moustache cupWell..... some of them were known as "soup strainers."

That reasoning clashes with today's aspiring Internet gunfighters who practice their fast draw and seldom mention accuracy; a huge magazine capacity is more important.
The motto of USPSA is Speed, Power and Accuracy. USPSA is the primary action shooting sport in the U.S. You don't get extra points for shots that go outside the A Zone. A huge magazine capacity is a help if you have multiple targets to service, and stopping to reload places you in danger..Maybe that is why our military exclusively uses 30 round magazines in their rifles/carbines.

What I usually told students is "you can't miss fast enough to win a gunfight."
Anyway, looking forward to a stroll around town and dinner in Tombstone this evening. We try to go about once a month.![]()
