Looks like XS Sights behind schedule - will Night Fision, Trijicon, AMERIGLO or someone else win the race?

Please tell me someone is going to come up with an option to replace that ridiculously wide rear notch.

Agree, HOWEVER, I installed an original Bodyguard rear sight which fit, narrower notch BUT I want night sights like all my former micro 9s/380s.

I spoke with customer service at XS last week. They are always friendly and helpful.

The rep actually put me on hold to get the exact ship date for the R3D 2.0 sights I want and was told they are delayed two weeks or approximately January 15th.

Should be good to go then, with the other models to follow at the end of February.

Tru-Glo original Bodyguard rear sight is the same as the 2.0, if that's all you want is to replace the rear one.

It is not the same height, though the dovetail is the same.
I considered replacing both the front and rear with BG1.0 TruGlos, but the rear is taller. Thought about using the same set as the 1.0, but I'm not sure of their relative height and POI.
The BG1.0 rear actually works really well for a zero, and a sight picture. But a larger, brighter front sight would be a help.

I replaced my rear sight with the Tru-Glo and they were exactly the same height and shot right to POA. It just had a narrower slot and had tritium inserts in it.

Agjsimon, my recollection was, putting a vernier on it, OUT of the gun, it was a different height. In any case, the relationship between the rather bright TRUGLO rear, and the far less bright OEM, is less than ideal.
The front sight IS a different height, which discouraged me changing both sights.
TRUGLO doesn't respond to E-mails (at least not mine), and don't offer a phone number. I like their sights, and hope they make a set dedicated to the 2.0 version.
I have TRUGLOS on a BG1.0, and they offer a really great sight picture.

FYI, I went to XS' website today, and the R3D 2.0 Night Sights for the Bodyguard 2.0 are listed in the Smith and Wesson drop box. Unfortunately, as soon as you choose either of the red or green option for the color around the front night sight, you get a message saying "The selected product combination is currently unavailable." But, I consider it a good sign that the company will be ready to take orders in the near future.

Yep just bought it in green. 100 bucks to get rid of the mile wide rear sights. Hope they fit well

How do you like them? I had to wait a few days longer to get the Orange, but mine are on the way to me now. :p

Just got my sights today. Will update tomorrow when I install and try them out

This one worked with a little persuasion but I just have to say these were the tightest sights I've ever removed out of the dozen or so pistols I've done.

For some reason I can't add a link but I got this on Amazon:

Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns, Precision Front and Rear Sight Adjustment, Durable Pistol Sight Removal Tool with Disassembly Tool Kit for Glock

If you search those terms you should find it. Best part > $46!
