Year and Value of Model 25-2 and Model 19

I inherited a couple of revolvers that I need help with finding out the year of mfr and an estimated value.
First one is a Model 25-2 revolver, serial number N614792. It also has 71992 B1 etched in front of the cylinder when you swing it out. Hand ejector. 45 cal Model 1955 on the right side of the barrel. 6" barrel. Blued with wood grips.

The other one is a Model 19-5 revolver, serial number AUS8518. It also has E10 398X8 etched in front of the cylinder when you swing it out. Hand ejector. S.&W. 357 Magnum on the right side of the barrel. 5 3/4" barrel. Blued with wood grips.

Any help on the year and value would be greatly appreciated.

Decent pictures are a real plus. Neither are particularly collectible so condition is paramount in determining value.

N614792 and AUS8518 are the serial numbers, the others numbers are assembly and/or inspection stamps which don't have any meaning outside of the factory. As mentioned above, pictures would be helpful in assessing value. That said, if they have original grips and condition is 95% or so the 25-2 would be $1000-$1200 where I shop and the 19-5 perhaps $700-$900. If you have boxes/tools/documents add another $100 or so. Welcome to the Forum! I believe that 22hipower is spot on with his valuation of your two revolvers. Did you measure your barrel lengths from the front of the cylinder to the muzzle, or from the front of the frame to the muzzle? S&W revolver barrels are measured from the front of the cylinder to the muzzle. The Model 25-2 in .45 ACP was introduced in 1961, and yours was manufactured 1979-1980...that's probably why it has a 6" bbl. The 6-1/2" bbl. was discontinued in 1979. My 25-2 was manufactured in 1973 and has the 6-1/2" bbl. Your Model 19-5 was manufactured 1986-1987, and is also a 6" bbl. The 19-5 was introduced in 1982 and was the first Model 19 version not to have a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder holes for the magnum cartridges (aka Pinned & Recessed). Both are nice revolvers and worth some money. Is there any family provenance with these revolvers (grandpa, dad, ?) and are they family heirlooms? We also like pictures here on the Forum so those would be appreciated. Enjoy!
