Yep... a 657-2 41 Magnum

There are many like it, but THIS one is *mine*! Nothing really special here other than another 657 .41 Magnum... those of you who appreciate the pistol and the caliber like me- enjoy!

But seriously... what's not to like?!? I am still at a loss how the venerable 41 never garnered more interest and attention.

Oh, well... SOME of us know a good thing when we see it!

Thanks, SuperMan! Alas, my collection languishes with just the one 41.

Interestingly, it was a pistol I gave to a good friend of mine (known here on the Forum as Reaper) quite some time ago. He is an N-Frame collector and I wanted to thank him for something and I knew he lusted after my 657. Painfully, I gave him the pistol and he reluctantly but gratefully accepted the gift.

To my great joy and surprise, he gave it back to me a couple of years ago so all is right with the world again. You know... except for the fact I only have one 41 in my safe!

As for the grips, J.Solo, I am not positive... Eagle Grips maybe? I'll ponder some more and let you know if I recall.

My all time favorite caliber!!

The 41 Mag is the most underrated and highly desirable caliber in existence, especially for those of us who can "roll our own" and make our own bullets.

What a beautiful gun you have in your 657. It will serve you well...
