After getting back from picking up the wife's new puppy I decided as crappy as the the Austin Saxet show normally is I would take the Kimber 10mm and try to find a 1006, no luck. So by now questions are forming as to why is this in the revolver section. So...

I did find an "unfired" 25-5 4" in the presentation case with screw driver, brush, and cleaning rod marked with the low price of $439.95. Too good to be true right?

Yep. Left forgotten in the basement for many moons. The case is warped and all the lining is gone. The tools are corroded beyond salvage. The grips are discolored but intact. Lots of surface rust that did come off but there are some areas of minor pitting and missing bluing.

Wanted a 25-5 for a while. Looks like I may have found one I can carry/shoot and not feel guilty if I get a mark on it.

Old enough to have a pinned barrel.

I'll try to get some decent pic with my antique camera when the sun comes out.

Ugly sixguns need love too. No offense meant...

I found this old 1917 dated Webley Mk VI in need of some kind hearted soul who wouldn't look down his nose at a pitted, 0 % finish wheelgun.

It has perfect bores and chambers, matching numbers, the perfect guilt free shooter.

(Enjoy your 25-5.)

Hey, the bullets aren't going to care about the pitting if the bore and cylinders are good, there's no endshake, and it's in time. Seems like a great buy for the price you paid!
