I just got a new holster for my 9mm Shield and love it. Previously I had been using a High Noon Mr. Softy to carry the Shield in the appendix position and was mostly happy with it. Well, I just got a Blade-Tech Appendix holster and this wins hands down!

My off-duty gun is generally a G23 that I carry in a High Noon Mr. Softy for the last several years with no complaints. Due to that, I got one for the Shield. It worked OK until I saw the Blade-Tech holster and took a gamble.

This holster is slim, secure, easy to draw from, carries at a great position for me, is easy to put on and take off and you can re-holster one handed with confidence.

I tried drawing the gun from all kinds of positions, both with my belt tight and loose and there were no problems at all.

My warm weather, light clothing gun now has a new home. Plus I intend to get one for my Glock. There are two versions of the BT holster for every budget. Try one.

I just wanted to update this thread to say I've been carrying the Shield daily in the Blade-Tech holster and I'm still very impressed and happy with it. The gun draws very easily and re-holsters easily while still holding the pistol securely.

Today I got another one for my G23 and the fit and finish are the same. Easy to put on and take off, while being secure and quick to draw from.

Maybe it's just my body type/shape, but the carry height is perfect and comfortable with both the Glock and the Shield.

For the price and a reasonable three week wait, these holsters are worth every penny.
