You can have one handgun. VOTING ENDS TODAY 2/2/10 AT 6:00 P.M. EST!!!!!

I've learned something. I did not know that there was a 7 shot 681 made! That would be a fine choice if it was one of the selections offered.
Steve

Here's the one I keep in my office.

Most popular of the group is obviously the 4 inch Model 66 Smith & Wesson, followed by the Colt Commander & the Glock Model 19 tied for 2nd place. Third place goes to the Smith & Wesson Model 629 with 4 inch barrel.

I have to admit I am really surprised at how the polling went. I figured that the J frame Smiths would really have a much stronger showing.

Now, what everyone needs to do is run out and buy one of the top finishers if you don't already have one! Do your part to help the economy!!!!!!;)

Thanks for participating.

It's easy to talk big when not in person. Maybe Lee would like to explain to you about trying to stir up trouble on "his" forum? Eh????
Steve

I was NOT stirrin up trouble but did call ya on a couple things that ya could not or would not answer without deflection...

Dude- you can't take someone tellin ya as it is? You inferred superiority first with you "know more than 80 percent" statement. We all have the ability to comment on any thread ya make public and don't need yer permission.... why are you crying- this is not Pulitzer or Nobel territory...

and BTW I talk the same in person or public actually. At 6'5 300 and not disabled I can and do... and I don't need yer permission either. I am not PC and likely never will be ...

Your "poll" was and is lame no matter how you try to spin it... and I am not the only one to think/say it... but since yer the top of the 80 percent ya can't see what the rest of us in the upper 20 percent see :p

was way too loose and inconsistent. Maybe a few more trys and it will get better.

thinkin an idea is lame etc is not the same as calling you lame - no matter if happens to be true or not - there is a difference and that is allowed :D

Lots of repair parts available, many could be put on by an non-expert if needed. I guess a diet of federal Hydashocks would do.

D.

maybe we all should just get along. we have so much trouble with our gun rights, and so many people trying to take of freedom away we really dont need to fright with the members on our forum. We are here because we all like having a good time and talking about gun. Try and remember that.

Surprizingly few donuts, no beer- just like to cook and eat way too much good food .... gee wonder what the NY resolution was? :D

There is a big difference between 6'5 and 300 and 5'8 300 but I definitely do need to get on with it for sure.

At least you have a sense of humor. Whether 6' 5" or 5' 9", we all have our weeknesses. Could be booze, women, food, cigarettes, etc..... There's always something.

686 4 inch .357 magnum and i would use the biggest nastiest .357 magnum ammunition i could get my hands on

I haven't picked a gun because I can decide between the 686 4" or a Glock 19. I would probably lean toward the 686 because I don't care for Glock pistols. But the thought of only one gun is scary.

The versatiltiy of the 357 is hard to match. The same for the 44 mag could be said. But if I'm limited to one gun things have really gotten bad. 357 ammo would be a little easier to find. But in retrospect, 9MM ammo would be even easier to find.

From your list: Colt Commander, although mine would be a Kimber Pro Carry. Galco shoulder holster with two mags opposite.
My list: Probably the same with any .45 load it wants to eat.

Yes I do have a sense of humor even if some don't understand it ;)

I don't go around as nor do I pretend to be "billy bad ass" - I don't have too...

I do take offense to the folks that keep tellin me that "you would not say that to may face"

ask my friends they will tell ya different. I also can talk about the elephant in the living room etc. I kin admit and do that I am occasionally wrong etc etc IF there is proof that I am...

as far as "other weaknesses go... looking like a cross between Shrek n Sasquatch keeps me from havin "women issues" - they could be as bad as Smith N Wesson's if the skinny pretty ones liked me :p

Hate to say it on here, but the Glock 19 or 23 is perhaps the finest concealed carry handgun available today for the money. Check out the 10000 round test on you tube. The slide was so hot the guide rod melted and fell out but the gun kept on firing.

Glock 20 with a 22 conversion.if that wont work then a 29-2 4 inch blue with cutom grips.gotta look good when the shtf

You obviously need more fiber in your diet. :D
